My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
Has anyone ordered a new X5 3.0d here in Europe?

It seems that the eariest E70 deliveys overhere are also in the year 2008 :thumbsdown:

Geez, I've gotta tell you, we've got relatively cheap and readily available BMWs here in the States. Now I know we've got George Bush too. So let me think about this . . .

Have you tested E70 yet? I had a possibility to play with 3.0d and 4.8i models last week. Diesel version was good, but offered for me nothing special compared to my own 530 xdA. But 4.8i, wow! Very nice acceleration and much stiffer driving impression. Absolutely the version one should go if E70 is under consideration. Costs a bit higher, but offer so much better performance and driving dynamics.
New tranny was also tested, naturally. Nothing to complain, the stick was fine, I liked more than the current one.
