Anyone know if its possible to have an Alpina in the US bought directly from a BMW dealer within the US? I know theres been talk of having the car bought overseas and converted but thats just a science project in its own. Anyone got info?

Yup, only B7 this year and most of the 200 units are already allocated to customers. Next year, there should be some more B7s available, and hopefully also the X5 model.

There are no plans to bring the B3, D3, B5 and B6 to North America, as far as I'm aware (BMWNA actively don't want models that might compete with M customers).

Of course, there's also the older V8 Roadster, which sounds like it's an appreciating asset at the moment (like all Z8s)
