hi,
Im starting a website called e90forums.net ((prototype)) , i have managed find find a little bit of information which i have put on the site , but do any of you have more infomation about the E90 or E90 M3 , any info you have would be great

Firstly there is no 4 Series, BMW decided against using the 4 series designation a couple of months ago, it will be 3 series coupe and cabrio
The pics on your site are pretty old Photoshop representations of the coupe / M3 ( dont want to be mean
)
The E90 will be built in germany and here in South Africa
German production will initially be Munich and the new plant in Leipzig ( opening with E90 production ), and Regensburg
Rosslyn in Pretoria South Africa is the out of germany production site
Rosslyn is already producing a number of cars per day, with full production starting in March
A interesting thing is that the USA and Canada are getting a 3.0L 325i as opposed to the rest of the world getting a 2.5L one, the same applies to the new 525i engines. This info is correct and has been confirmed with BMW here, the reason is apparently emmisions standards and cost savings. They all produce the same power and torque.
The 323i will be launched soon
Your site mentions starting and entering the car without a key, this is the optional Comfort acess. In standard form you still need to insert the key in a slot before you press the start button

BTW in case you didn't know the 4 series won't be used. BMW are are sticking with the 3 series for the 2 ddors as using the 4 would be too similar to the Rover 400s

- 2497cc
- 160 KW (218 bhp)
- max torque 250 Nm at 2750 r.p.m
- 0-100km/h in 7.1 sec
In March (1st week April) my car is ready to drive, then i can give you the first impressions on your E90 forum.
