Well, a second glance made me feel better :D But imo the 335ci pic on the first page still looks better :)

Tail lights don't look right, reminds me of some other car, but can't put my finger on it. Based on these pics, actually like the sedan better. Will have to reserve judgment till see in the flesh.

Like the e90, it doesn't work for me. Thats why I got an e60 this time.

I'm disapointed as I had read that BMW were going to make the coupe radically different from the saloon - more of a sports car appearance than we have seen before.

Need to see it in the flesh though and get used to is as with all the new designs.

the 5 series really grew on me and the old 3 really looks dated now, but the e90 just doesn't look expensive enough.

The m-sport kit will probably do the trick though and in the end I think the engine might persuade me back to the land of coupe ownership.

The E90 sedan tail lights are too generic. They could be from any Korean car. These coupe spyshots have a taillight design that is more like the traditional BMW style. I like it!

However, the classic BMW tail lights used to have the smaller section on the trunklid aligned with the lower edge of the light cluster, as seen in the enclosed E46 pic. Now they have reversed the taillight design, making it somewhat similar to Audi A4.

Just looked at the red m3 above, then to the spyshot, then back again.

M3 is beautiful by comparison. I hope the new coupe grows on me.

I guess that is what I was thinking. Wish they were more like the e46 than the audi. Oh well.

Not to missunderstand me but hey think about the 2 pics! How were they taken, with what cameras, angels, scenes and so on...+ that coupe is a new design you are not familiar at all with it. I think we'll better comment after we all see it in the flesh.
The e46 m3 will always have a place in my heart...i do also hope the e90 m3 will surpass even the e46 in design beauty and muscle.
I saw a pic (an early spyshot) of the e90 m3 in red...that looked so mean and agressive...i acutallu liked that.

Played a little with photoshop, sure lot of people could do better, but changed up the left tail light a little bit.
