I ll use the Audi during the snow period.I had my winter wheels on this afternoon. After seeing the blizzard.

This winter is actually going to be fun, driving wise, for the first time for me. Never owned a 4WD car before.
I?m really looking forward to it. Only problem is that it brakes just as bad as a 2WD!!!

I would like a repaint on of the front bumper and the hood, after 2? years and 90.000 kms... But I think we will order a M-kit spring 2007 :-)

It's so damn funny to drive 4WD, and the BMW with X-drive are so nice to drive during winter/snow/ice !

A lot of people here in Denmark buy SUV's and have them rebuilt to "van's". The backseats are not there and it's a van... They do that because then you only have to pay 30% taxes (+VAT) instead of 180% (+VAT).. So a lot of people drive cars like Mercedes ML, BMW X5 and Audi Q7.. And alot of these huge cars are driven with summertires all year!

OK - the winter isn't that bad in Denmark, but we got snow, and a lot of icy roads.

I hear people with the SUV's often just says - well it's a 4WD, I don't need wintertires... I always replies - as long as I'm not driving in front of you... 2.300 kg's (Audi Q7) and NO wintertires

I just read at aftonbladet.se that the snow in Stockholm is a mess right now!! Sometimes I don't miss Stockholm after been living there for 7 years..

yes it is a mess.I guess because many people were unprepaired. No winter tires.I wasnt expecting so early.Usually its mid november. Many roads were blocked and some busses stopped working.

Picked up the car today

Took a short trip down to Germany immediately. Just parked the car after 750 km of driving.
Very imressive car, very smooth and powerful.

Fuel consumption today 7.7 L/100km!! Mostly autobahn 100 - 170 km/h.

More driving tomorrow
