Sounds very nice with a brand new 330xd T for the winter
Our E60 530dA (87.000 km) has a lot of stone chips from our first winter when we lived in Stockholm. But now when we are living in Denmark, we don't get as much stonechips as we did in Sweden.. They dosen't spead gravel on the roads in Denmark - that must be why... Thinking of buying a M-kit, and repaint the hood after the winter... I just have to talk my dad into that idea

X-drive will be a totally new experience to mee. Imagine having all this traction in wet and slippery roads.
It?s gonna be real fun!
Getting traction on the rear wheels with the M5 is sometimes a problem
I?m not spoiled with traction, so to speak!

Tomorrow I will drive a E91 330xd touring for the first time ( demo car ). This will be very interesting.
BTW - any thoughts how to break in a new BMW diesel engine? Careful driving for 200 km
??

What you will find is that the power that is available to you , once you have passed 12000+km will be signigicantly more. I was quite surprised to see how the 3.0d powerplant opens up after proper break in

Back from the testdrive - what a smooth and powerful car. Wounderful smooth and strong diesel engine with a perfectly weighted auto gearbox.
Tried to spin the wheels from standstill but didn?t succeed. The traction was too good
The demo car had Comfort Access and Active Cruise Control - I think I will order these two option`?
Any thoughts experiences with CA and ACC on the E90/91?
Now I just have to wait for the confirmation on PW
