I saw that picture on X5world yesterday. I like it and hope that it has a somewhat usable third row seat, although looking at the spy pics the back area where the third row seats would fit is very small and at best would barely accomodate small children. We need to replace my wife's X5 and we need a car with a third row. The third row in the MB R-class is a decent size, but we don't like the car itself. If the E70's third row is too cramped for us then we are hoping that the V5 would have a third row more comparable with the R-Class' third row. The V5 was supposed to be the R-Class competitor, but now there are rumors that instead of a "people mover" BMW is going to make the V5 a "luxury cruiser" with only 4 or 5 seats. I think that rumor is probably false and people are probably mixing up the X6 with the V5.
If this E70 X5 has a decent third row then I don't have to worry about what the V5 is or isn't going to be.

I like both pictures. The front end isn't a drastic departure from the current X5, in other words, you can tell this is the successor. I also like the interior. They've finally incorporated the iDrive (which I've come to appreciate and will absolutely miss if my next car doesn't have an equivalent). That shift knob is rather tall, however, kind of like a gigantic SMG shift knob. LOL!
