My Ride: 2008 535i, Carbon Black, Black Dakota, Black Diamond Trim, 6sp Sport Automatic with Paddles, M-Sport Package, Premium Package
I have been a lurker (I believe that is the right term) for a while now. I really appreciate the information that is available on this page. I have been working through making a tough decision on my next car. I have been suffering through a 2004 Honda Accord as my 2 kids reach an age where they can be trusted in a 'nice' car.
I have jumped around from many choices of vehicle during my decision process. BMW 335, 535, used 550, used MB E55, used Audi RS6, Audi S4. I want 4 doors and some performance. I am concerned about warranty and reliability issues. After countless hours of research I have decided on a 2008 550 with sport package. Decision has probably been influenced by the fine cars on this page. I will probably factory order in Sept.
It is interesting seeing how everyone in US is going to Europe to save money on purchase. Being from Canada, with the recent strength of our dollar vs. US, I can probably save $12,000 by buying in the US. Does anyone know how much sales tax applies to a new car purchase in either WA or OR?
