My Ride: 2006 530d M-Sport. Silver Grey Metallic, Dakota Black Leather, Professional Nav.
Hardwired Road Angel + Laser, De-Swirl Flapped!!
I hope that you all accept my apologies for the delay in my first posting. I've been the proud owner of a 2006 530d for just over 2 months, and have been meaning to say hello, but with the choice of keyboard or steering wheel, I've been out chasing the road a lot!
Having worked my way up through the ranks over the past 9 years (both automotive and career), I felt that I was overdue for a toy, and having looked at woefully underpowered Audi's and a couple of MB's that will be a great car for my retirement 25 years from now, I felt that an E60 was the only way to go. I had become fairly resigned to a standard spec SE 520d, when as flying past my local dealer, I saw 'The Beast' being wheeled out onto the used lot. Needless to say, it wasn't long before I made her acquaintance! Low miles, one elderly owner, completely stock, it wasn't really a hard decision.
There are a few tweaks of personalisation I'm looking to make to her over the next couple of months, however I have a feeling that a few will turn to several, and then slowly migrate on to many. Wish me luck, and I'm glad to have you along for the ride!
