Question Should I buy a wagon?

I own a 03 e46 convertible and love it. My wife is unable to drive a manual shift but loves riding with me. We have seen a 2007 530xi wagon that she fell in love with after a test drive. The car has 142,000 miles and clean carfax the same as my e46. The question is should we buy it? It has had two previous owners one in New York for the first 50k and Georgia for the remainder of the time. The BMW dealer changed the rear wheel bearings and everything else woks fine. Please advise for high mileage.

142000 miles .. I would personally avoid it. They seem to develop a lot of electrical and gearbox issues. I had problems with my brand new 530i with these issues lucky for me it was covered under warranty at that time. Gear box alone can cost up to 8k on replacement in Australia.
