Hi guys,

bought my first hand, full service history 520iA (M54), 80,000 miles, in perfect condition (except some acceptable paint damage, about 1,000$ would fix it) last week.

Should I change the original 2004 tires? There is 6mm tread left indeed . I'm happy especially about the like new condition inside and the risk-free configuration.

No pimping, because classic look rocks. Everything works fine, except broken rear air vents (accomplished 15$ ebay purchase will fix that). The pictures are from bimmer.work = exactly my car.

Yeah, tires need to be switched out every 7 years, even if the thread is still good, because of dryrot.

Thanks. Of course I will change the tires, they are still ok in dry but dangerous in wet condition.
