New here but old reader. I have a 530i xdrive and 530xi.

So if they're both 2007's, what makes one a 530i xdrive and the other a 530xi?

 

Sorry for the confusion, one is a 2012 f10 535i xdrive. Hard to type without glasses.🤦‍♂️

 

Welcome doc. I have an 06, 530XI. We love driving it, but it can be pricey to get work done. Can you do your own wrenching?

Thank you. I am a little bit mechanically inclined. A little bit of research and the experience shared from the folks here, I was able to fix some of the problem. I like the naturally aspirated inline 6 and the steering feel of my 530xi.
