Greetings and Salutations.
I go by the handle of mfumbesi and I've been lurking here for 2 years.
I'm in the market for a 545i, currently I drive an E46 323i.
I've been using this site for my research on the E60, the information page is incredible impressive and useful.

Thank you.

Thank you.
There is quite a few now on the market for less than $20k with less than 100 000km.
I think most people are scared of a V8, they presume it will be a $$$ at the fuel pump.

Greetings mfumbesi. Are you a Springbok fan? Do they still assemble 3-series in SA? I've never seen so many in one place as around Jo'burg, but the last time was in '04, so they were still e46s. Cheers.

Welcome on board

Good luck with the search. The 545i certainly is a fine fine choice... providing the tax, insurance & fuel costs are doable (some of the killers for us in europe)

Are you a Springbok fan?
What a question.
Do mosquitoes carry Malaria?Of course they do.
Do they still assemble 3-series in SA?
Indeed.

In the compact-executive segment the 3-series is King, no I'm lying it is the Emperor.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

Cool. Then you can help keep me up to date. I never was much of a rugby fan--played on a pick-up team at university. Then I started traveling throughout mostly southern and eastern Africa for business a few years ago, and spent quite a bit of time in SA, mainly Jo'burg. With the time difference, I often had trouble sleeping, so I would stay up and watch games--usually replays, of course. It got me hooked and I started supporting the team. One of my friends since I moved here is a Kiwi and he bleeds All Blacks. Of course, we give each other crap all the time. So, you've got at least one fan in middle America. GO SPRINGBOKS!
