Jim! Can't wait to see pics... as far as deleting registration information (assuming license plate info), use a photo/image editing tool like Paint or Photoshop. Simply select the license plate area and either delete or fill with another color. Save or export the edited image as JPG or PNG.

What is a 'raised centre armrest? Sounds like a mod for me, would improve comfoprt on the motorway...? Std feature? Did you have it on your previous E60?

Thanks to all for welcome message - i can feel the love !!
Will post pictures as soon as weather allows - raining like monsoon today. Thanks for tips re license plate - will pick simplest as have not got paint Shop on laptop .
Raised center armrest was done by company that did leather - last e60 uncomfortable - I have a long spine and couldn't rest my arm without dropping it at least 3 inches by sitting at an angle.
Will definitely post pictures of same as it has been very successful and I now have no back pain. Had considered buying alternative car  before I asked leather finisher if he could assist . He then covered arm rest and trim panel between rest and pdc controls in same colour leather - providing a very professional looking finish - maybe not factory fit but still excellent and can be returned to stock easily if required.
