Hey all,

I'm brand new to this forum and though I would introduce myself and ask some advice.

I just ordered a 2007 530xi, Silver Grey over black, Steptronic, Sport, Premium, Cold Weather, NAV, Premium Audio. This car will replace my 2004 330xi. I am told the car should be in mid to late April. I am TRYING to avoid driving myself crazy over color selection ("should I have gone with a darker exterior - Titanium Grey - and or a lighter interior - beige or grey?") This stuff can drive you crazy.

Anyway, my question has to do with wheel and tire selection. Specifically, I have ordered the 18" wheels which come with the Style 123 wheels and runflats. I am not that crazy about the Style 123 wheels, but have not been able to see any in person. Not sure about the runflats either. On the other hand, $600 sounds like a pretty good price for the upgrade.

The thing is that I intend to get winter wheels and snows - as I always do even on my AWD cars - but I also want summer performance tires. My thought was that I would not want to use the all seasons that come with the standard wheels so I might as well get the 18's which already come with summer rubber. But, I don't want to spend $600 to get crappy 18" wheels and tires that I will wind up wanting to replace anyway. My alternative would be to get the standard wheels, put the snows on them and then buy summer wheels and tires. This can get pretty expensive.

SO . . . Can someone tell me how the Style 123 wheels look, what the weight of them is and which runflats I will actually get with them? The wheels look pretty good in photos.

I will, of course, welcome everyone's opinion on my color choices and options so i can drive myself even more crazy - at least until my car goes into production and it's too late to make any changes.

Regards to all.

I found this by searching on "123 wheels". I believe this is the car you are ordering with Auburn interior. Contact this guys and see if hye still loves it. For my two cents, its a great combo of colors and wheels. Good luck and welcome.
