My Ride: 1999 BMW 528i, 2005 530i Touring MS
New owner from NZ - E61 Motorsport

I've just purchased my second 5 Series, a NZ spec single owner late 2005 E61 530i Touring Motorsport in black with gray leather. A stunning looking car which was well optioned new (professional nav, HUD, bluetooth, voice control), only missing an iPhone interface to make it complete. It has done 133000 kms but full BMW service history. A few early niggles to sort (cigarette lighters not working, bluetooth has died, park light bulb blew today etc) but the dealer spent a bundle preparing it for sale so hopefully not too much more.
My old one is a 11/99 Japanese spec 528i sedan with BMW individual interior. The body is blue and the gray leather is piped in blue. It has 245000kms on the clock now and will be on the market as soon as I have cleaned it.
As for me I'm a professional aeronautical engineer and I've always dabbled in cars, previously Alfa's and Toyota Celica GT-Fours.

This purchase was actually delayed as I was planning to move to Seattle. Since that fell through I got a new toy instead.
