Hey,
very glad I stumbled on this forum!!
I just picked up a 2006 550I M Sport and LOVE IT!
My previous cars was an Acura Integra Type R to a Mitsubishi Evolution 9. My father would always laugh at me and tell me my cars would never handle the road like a BMW.
His most recent bmw is the 05 545I... Some time last month I was able to borrow it for a week... a couple days later my lancer evolution went up for sale, and here I am!!!!
I guess he was right all along... lol
I couldn't see my self in a basic looking 5 series, and I couldn't afford a M5 as of yet. I was tempted to get my hands on a 535I... but Im in school again and need to stay focused on finishing instead of sinking my money into bigger turbos, and such.
the 550 to me is just perfect... a whole lot of HP and with a very comfortable ride. Not to mention the M Technic package that gives such an agressive look!
My plans for the car is to find the 2008 - style 172 rims and the M Sport steering wheel... and hopefully the LCI headlights and tails later. (funny it took me couple days to figure out what the hell LCI stood for, lol)
I should have pics of the car as it sits tomorrow.
