Whats up, I just got a 2004 530i. I am glad I found this site, tons of info. No mods yet other than the rims that were put on by the dealer. I have been browsing the site and have a list of stuff to do once I get back to Cali and my car (in Tampa on Business for 2 weeks). First step will be the sprint booster, k&n, and to pull out the charcoal filter. From looking around I love the look of the M-Tech kit and would like to lower the stance just a bit also. Here a a couple pics from the day I got it home...

Welcome to the forum Kevin.

If you want some work done on your car, I recommend going to SonicMS in Mountain View (www.sonicms.net). I know it's a probably a 45 min drive from Santa Cruz but they've done tons of work for a lot of members here in NorCal. Ask for Darwin and tell him Tony referred you. They've done pretty much everything on my current M5 as well as my old 545.

Hey, maybe you should also consider coming to this meet that I'm planning on Nov 15th in San Luis Obispo: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...t=0&start=0

Congrats on the new car and hope to meet you at one of the meets.

Thanks for the heads up on the shop...I am new to Bimmers but not new to modding cars so I am going to try to tackle most things myself, I will need a source for parts though. I might be able to pull of that meet also. San Luis is great, most of the time when I head down there it's to take my truck to Pismo Beach to play on the Dunes.

You can use SonicMS as a source for parts too. Darwin is a member here and his handle is Darwin@sonicms. There are several other respectable vendors on here as well like Trinity Autosport (represented by members NerWeezy (Nerwyll) and r1racer (Joe)) and EuroRev (represented by member John@EuroRev).

Hurry and prep your car in time for the SLO meet. haha

Welcome! Nice car--you should lower it a bit since it's riding a bit high. Wheels look nice though.
