Hi all,

Just regd 5 mins ago.

I recently ordered a carbon black with black dakota leather & bluetooth prep 520d msport which I cant wait to get (partially as it means I get rid of the damn toyota avensis hire car I am forced to drive right now).

Last car was an e34 m5 (3.8) which I absolutely adored-it was one of the best condition ones I have seen & certainly the best e34 i ever owned (I think that was no 6) but due to blowing a piston @ "enthusiastic" speeds I have now decided to go down the sensible route & lease a 520d which will save me money every month compared to high & constant maintenance & high fuel costs on the m5.

I have a few bits in mind for the 520d but whatever I do has to be easily reversible/undetectable-I will have a remap & have been told I can get it to 205bhp but think maybe thats a bit optimistic as alpina only managed to tune it to 190.

I need some kind of exhaust trim as the std ones a bit naff looking & wonder if anyone can suggest something ?(also toying with the idea of the m5 rear bumper & quad exhausts)

I didnt want the high sat nav & other media add ons-does anyone know of any cheaper options which are compatible ?

Many thanks

Paul

Welcome, Paul.

If you can, get the m5 full body w/ aftermarket exhaust (quad). That would be sweet.

I plan to add the m-package body (not m5) w/ super sprint or eisenmann (sp?) quad exhaust setup.

I dont know if you want your rims bigger, to me 18" style 124 rims look hot!!
