Hi to all! I'm a new member that's owned an 03 325I for the last 6 years (oh wow!! didn't realize it's been that long). I'm finally moving up to an 07 530XI w/ 55K miles (was more than anything tired of not making it up my driveway when it snows).

With the proper tires you'll be able to climb walls with your xi! Mine does just fine with all-season tires in the winter here in New Jersey. You may want to consider snows if you absolutely have to go when it snows in Omaha! Check out Tirerack through the link in my signature to earn some cash-back rebates there and other on-line stores.

I will definitely do that. As soon as I find a set of 19in wheels I like (for cheap), I will put snow tires on the stock wheels. Just talked to the auto transport company and I should have the car this evening.
