Hello All,

Like many enthusiasts before me, I have been following the forum for quite some time in the background, just perusing the wealth of information on the site. I have enjoyed my stay so much in the different forums, I thought it would be wise to become a member and enjoy all the benefits of the site.

I live 45 minutes outside of Baltimore in Northeast, Maryland. Rolling hills and winding roads makes for an enjoyable driving experience everyday in my 2005 530i. Some Modifications have been done to the car, but with everyone's knowledge and expertise I look forward to building a Supercharged Work of Art.

This is my maiden experience in any type of forum, so I am trying to find my footing. Don't be too hard on me. Now, where's the submit button?

Cheers

Derek

Derek,

What type of wheels do you have? Are those 19" or 20's? I need new wheels ASAP. Two of my wheels are cracked and fixing is not an option. Well, I want new wheels.

Thanks,
Kris

I went with a staggered application from Racing Dynamic. The RD2 monobloc wheels are 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear wrapped with Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. The car was lowered using H & R Springs about 1.5 inches all around.

Nice!! For months I honesty couldn't find an aftermarket wheels I liked until now. I'm going to look into this... Thanks again!

BTW does the springs make you car bumpie? Im thinking about dropping it too.

The ride quality has not been compromised too much, you can still enjoy a comfortable ride in the car. It's not stock, nor is it intended to be, but with lowering the car using progressive springs you will be able to take advantage of improved handling and stability. Not to mention a nice standing profile of the car.

Go for it!
