Hello All,
Im a new member from Arizona. I just purchased a 2008 550i(25K Miles) Jet Black color with sport package. Glad to be here. I lurked for the last 2 days and was able get some helpful info. BTW, I just discovered some rock chip spots on the driver door and hood. What the most effective method of covering or removing those rock chip spots?

Welcome...
Rock chips, depending onthe size, you can either try Drcolorchip or touch up paint from the dealer. Touch up paint works good if the chips are deep enough. Use a toothpick to dab the paint into the hole until it's thick enough and almost even out with the surface. Might need some wet sanding and a good polish job to blend it in. Colorchip is straight forward. Still detectable at close inspection but much easier for DIY people like most of us here.
