My Ride: 2013 M5, all options exc. rear seat ent., catted AMS DP's, front lip, tune soon
Greetings,
Just purchased a 2008 M5 from my local Chevy dealer (the owner). I know you forum members will like this - I traded in my 06 ZO6 (one of the first units built) on this car. I couldn't pass on this deal as this car had never been registered and saved quite a bit over a new one. Car has 2000 miles on it and is fully loaded - and it will take me weeks to figure out all of the fine features of this car. Bought the wife a 2008 335 two months ago and that convinced me. Well, off to put a few miles on it and get used to this auto tranny. Thanks.

Thanks for the responses and yes mods are definitely in the works in the next few months. My M5 is definitely a different car from the ZO6 but my M5 will definitely get a lot more adds as the power in the old Z was a bit more than stock. It was definitely modded and made about 570 rwhp. But it is a compromise in comfort, noise level, road manners and not to mention the pathetic service/support that GM dealers have for an expensive GM car. I will be doing a lot of research into which mods are the best bang for the buck, which are best for looks, exhaust, and others. Supposedly, the owner of the dealership added the Dinan Stage 2 package to this car but I have not confirmed this. What is the best tipoff that this has been done??
