Just wanted to say hi as I have been lurking around for the past few weeks after picking up my CPO 2007 550i! OMG I love this car. A little background: I purchased a CPO 2006 325i in early 2008 as my first Bimmer and loved the handling, braking for such a modest level bmw, but I wanted more POWER! I spent almost two years looking at the 335i among other models and found one in January that seemed perfect... until I spotted the CPO 550i (loaded non-sport) on the lot for just a single G more! I asked the sales guy if I could drive the 550i first as I have always admired the model but never drove one. The 335i was definitely sweet (coup, loaded + sport, no nav), but when I sat behind the wheel of the spacious and luxurious CPO 2007 550i and pressed the gas I started having serious doubts about my wanting a 335. I have driven multiple 335s (both stick and auto) and liked it but compared directly to the 550i it felt like a lot of effort to get the power I wanted AND I could actually fit my 3 kids in the back of it as a bonus!
So I drove the 550i, then the 335i, then the 550i again and told the salesman to write me up for the 550i! I know the 335i is a faster car at least on the low end, but I LOVE the whole package of the 550i. I feel like a king when I drive it.

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.

Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.
