Default New guy from Philly - on the hunt for an E61

Hey All,

New guy here from Philadelphia. I'm not new to BMW, as I've owned a 330ci for the last 5 or 6 years. I turn my own wrenches. I don't go to mechanics.

I've reached the point where my 330ci won't cut it anymore. With kids in the near future for my wife and I, it's time to step up to something a little larger.

I'm on the hunt for a low mileage E61 AWD, preferably manual (I see one was posted today in the Classified! Gotta look into that one).

I'll be pouring over the site in the next few days to get familiar with everything and figure out what not to ask about the E61!

to the forum Tracy! We call a manual E61 a unicorn because they are indeed rare to find, but they are out there. I suggest you do a search on autotrader.com and cars.com specifying the geography you are willing to cover in your search.
