My Ride: 550i Mpkg
GT3 HEAVILY Modded.. Nearly all track
T-Reg (Wife Mobile)
R8 <- Soon
I wanted to introduce myself...
I have a new to me 08' 550i. Carbon Black and loaded up..
I've been happy with the vehicle. It replaced a much too large Escalade and still fits my 3 kids in the back.
Thus far I've simply tinted the windows and been searching to find the following upgrades..
- Dual Quad Exhaust (I found the CF rear diffuser to accomodate)
- Intake and other worth wile upgrades.??
Here are some pics.. (with it's German Garage mates)

Welcome to the forum. Need more pics of that GT3.
If you want an off the shelf quad exhaust system, companies like RDSport, Eisenmann and Remus make them. Quite a few people have also gone the custom path by having local muffler shops do the piping and use cans from Magnaflow or the like. That said, some people feel that quad systems don't produce much or may even lose power. If you can stick to a dual system, the RPI (Race Precision) setup has been shown to provide really good gains and a very aggressive sound.
For other mods, I'd also recommend the RPI ram air scoops with BMC filters and then get a tune from ESS Tuning. Dinan also makes a throttle body for your car. Last but not least, if you have a 6 speed or SMG then maybe also get the Dinan differential.
Happy modding!

to the forum and NICE garage!
We can set you up with a custom quad conversion or get you the RDSport or Remus...just like ECF said. As for the intake we sell the RPi scoops and BMC filter combo. Please contact us anytime if you have any questions at 714-731-2526 or joe@trinityautosport.com

I have a Remus custom quad exhaust and it provides a deep, throaty rumble but yet isn't loud or obnoxious. I've received many compliments on the sound and looks of it. Definitely get the RPi scoops and BMC filter as well. Trinity is also a well respected vendor on this forum so you won't have any problems dealing with them!
