Yo Wuzz up Peeps? I'm" D" and had my stock 545i for 2yrs now and love it Big time more then my lady, well my ex now. Just got back from AZ, saw that long stretch of high way and pushed my baby to the max It was Awesome. Now excited to do some mods and upgrades give it some character.

I've heard and read a lot about BMW car problems and now I'm having some. I Overhaul and repair airplanes and don't know anything about cars just the basic maintenance. As soon as I got back to cali. My car stop changing gears and water pump was leaking. I just took a look on you tube and learned how to do it myself and that's how I found this forum. I got to say it was pretty easy and had fun doing it. Now runs like new. I should become a mechanic. The only thing now is that my battery drains. Now that I have time and no more "nagging" I just want to take it apart fix and upgrade, but don't really know what to start to upgrade first. Well got to go talk to you all soon. Laters!

All I did was change the transmission filter & fluid and that fixed the problem. Now it changes gears a lot smoother.
