I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I've got an 07 Alpine White 530i on order from Shelly BMW in Buena Park. It'll be a long 6-8 weeks 'til it arrives though. It had to be ordered since I wanted most of the options and more importantly a MANUAL tranny!
Pretty optioned out!
- Premium Pkg
- Sports Pkg
- Comfort Access
- Rear Sunshades
- Heated Front Seats
- PDC
- GPS Navigation
- HUD
- Logic 7
- Anthracite Headliner
As for mod plans, I'm planning the following:
- Complete M-Tech Body Kit
- M5 Trunk Lip/Spoiler
- ACS Roof Spoiler
- 20" Wheels (iForged or DPE)
I'm not sure if I wanted to lower the car yet or not. I really enjoy the nice comfy ride of stock, and didn't want to comprise it. Most of my previous rides were lowered, and I usually had some type of problem--whether it be irregular tire wear caused by negative camber, or just a harsh ride. I'm really looking to see if the M-Tech kit will "visually" lower the car or not. I don't want to spend $1000+ on coilovers, but don't want to settle for just springs. I know it'll look so much nicer without the unsightly gap between the front tires and fenders though.
I'm no stranger to Bimmers. As a matter of fact, this will be my 5th BMW. Here's my list of previous retired cars:
- '93 E36 325i Blk Sedan (Auto)
- '01 E46 325i Blk Sedan (Auto)
- '01 E39 530i Slvr Sedan (Auto)
- '02 E46 M3 Blk Coupe (SMG) *pictured
Here are some pics of the M3 dropped on Tein springs and 19" iForged Senekas.
