Hi my names scott, I live in the Uk.
Here's my 525D auto its currently on 274k miles or 440k KM, its got a few niggly faults like anti trap and some bulb warnings but overall its in good condition.

My spec.
Any ideas on what i should look out for in terms of long term ownerships ?

The fact that it's running with so little issues is a miracle. What you have right there is a car whose owner took good care of it.
First things first, pick up an OBDII scanner of some sort. Something that can read generic + BMW codes. This will come in handy when something else breaks. The idea is that if you take care of problems when they arise, they won't break off into other problems and cost you more money for a less reliable machine.
You'll love it.
