My Ride: '08 535i Titanium Silver, Grey Dakota Comfort Seats-Premium Pkg, Nav, ipod, PDC, Steptronic
Proud BMW owner since 9-1-07
My wife and I are the proud owners of an 08 535i. This is our first BMW and we are both very pleased with our experience thus far. We have had the car about four weeks and have about 2600 mi. on it. After a reasonably mellow break-in i have began to explore the cars limits (and mine) and HOT DAWG this car is a blast to drive. It has the good looks and good nature that my wife wants/needs and it has the performance range to keep me engaged and grinning from ear to ear.
But of course you all know all that...
I was looking for others to learn from and share my new enthusiasm with, not much going on on the BMW Club site Zzzzzzzz, or one or two others, but this place; I think I might like it here.

SLORider. Welcome. You should PM kmslo530i. If you need to learn and share the enthusiasm, you share the same back yard. He's a great guy, he'll appreciate the "Old everywhere else" comment. If you meet him, he'll explain it to you. He's been quite on the forum as of late but I'm sure if you pm him he'd be up to sharing the enthusiasm. He's so enthusiastic, he got rid of his 530 and got a 550! Tell him I said hi. Congrats again. Enjoy.

Hey San Luis Obisporider did I guess it correctly? My brother went to school there some years ago and we had an absolute blast in that town!! Is McKlintock's Saloon still there?
Congrats on your new 535i - mine is being built as we speak!! 2600 miles in one month - now that's enjoying your new ride!
I'm in the TO area and perhaps some day we'll come on up for lunch and a BMW meet!!
