My Ride: 2008 535xi manual in space grey with Grey Dakota leather and Diamond Black trim. Technology package, premium package, M Sport package, 6 CD changer
Default

I'm the proud owner of a 2008 535xi. I had to wait from last April to get my car as I wanted a manual transmission and they didn't start making them until last September.

This is my first BMW, previously I has a variety of Subarus, but this time I wanted to step up in performance and quality while keeping the all wheel drive that I am used to.

I only have 1,000 km on the car so I'm still driving around with the manual on the seat beside me!

Welcome to a great site. I'm a recent newbie also and still waiting on my 535xi (should be here by end of Nov tho).

What color did you get?

Enjoy your new ride. Assume you will be adding 4 snows to it soon?

BTW - I grew up and went to school in Central Alberta (but that was some time ago, although some say I am not grown up yet !!). My little town was under a 1,000 ppl back then.

I got the car in Space Grey with Dove Grey interior, anthracite headliner and Diamond Black trim. I already have my Dunlop Wintersport tires on look-alike rims mounted on the car as we has a light snowfall a couple of weeks ago (all gone now).

I've only lived in Alberta for three years. Before that it was the Northwest Territories.
