New to 5 Series
 

Hello,

Just joined the forum as it seems to be the place for the 5.

I have been involved in BMW groups since 2001. I dove in with European delivery on my E46 and then again on my 135i. Just sold my 135i and traded for a used 2009 550i M-Sport.

With a new car I have to get some new information, so here I am to learn the ins and outs of the E60. Wish me luck and thanks in advance for the help. I hope I can provide a little assistance as well, as I have done much of my own work on my BMWs over the years with a little tinkering included.

I'm new here as well and have the same car. Post some pictures. Any modification plans yet?

Just finished buffing/polishing, sealing & waxing. I will try to get a fresh picture.

As for mods, I tinkered with my last two a little bit, but so far I plan to stay pretty stock on this one. Maybe a few NCS Expert coding tweaks.

Did do auto trans service, dealer programming, a new battery and will be doing the sunroof seal this week. Also a good amount of detailing - paint, leather, interior trim, etc.

How about you? Big plans to modify?

Nice man. No big plans. I installed the AC type lip spoiler and just ordered some led side markers. Other than that just waxed it with the turtle wax black box. Thinking of doing a dual exhaust set up in the near future.

I am new here like you and just got my 09 535 xdrive (auto - eh). I had a 01 e39 5 MT that I traded in. I have run flats and this is my first time driving with them. I can feel the car is less secure. I miss the Michelin Pilot Sport Plus tires that I had on my e39.
