The Netherlands reporting.....
Hi! Here's a new member from the Netherlands!
This spring I got a new job, but this time no company car came with it so I had to buy myself one. Being very fond of RWD and really wanting some premium brand (BMW, Audi, M I decided to go for a nice BMW. With a toddler around, it had to be a touring and with the mileage I usually do (around 28K miles per year), it had to be a diesel (awkward Dutch tax regulations and fuel prices.....).
Anyway, I came across a very friendly priced 2006 520D, Fleet Edition (power reduced to 150hp). Leather interior, navigation, sunroof, I have a limited wishlist. It was very well maintained so it was an easy decision.
No I'm having the problem that in the future I'll never go back to any other brand......
Other cars: 1999 Mazda MX5, 2009 Toyota Aygo (too small for any American to believe it's actually a car)

My Ride: 2004 E61 530D - Dynamic Drive - Active Front Steering Sport Seats - Voice Control - Head Up Display - Nav Pro - Bluetooth - Panoramic roof - Front/rear heated seats
You'll love it, not as nimble as the MX5 but a joy as a dynamic everyday familycar. And you can stow a surprising amount of stuff in the back as well.

Yep, not us much as my previous car (Peugeot 508, unknown in the US) or the VW Passat Variant, but I'm not disappointed with the space in the trunk.
And I'm really not disappointed with the build quality: everything feels very solid and the materials are so much better than what I was used to.
