My Ride: 2006 525i Silver Gray, Gray Dakota Leather, Sport Package, Premium Package, Navi, Steptronic, Xenons
I recently bought an 06 525i in silver gray with gray dakota leather, sport package, premium package, steptronic and bi-xenons. I'm loving the car so far! I look forward to driving the kids to school or just heading out on a winding road in western Marin. Active roll stablization is amazing. I've never driven a luxury car with almost no body lean in corners. Surprised a Honda S2000 who thought he'd lose me in the twisties!
Forums are great. Already learned that wind noise from the sunroof is common and fixable. Wondering if the occasional buzz from the drivers a pillar on rough roads is too.
I also love the BMW k1200gt motorcycle. It's like Vince from Sham Wow says, "you know the Germans make always make good stuff!"

I had the same experience with a Porsche Boxster that tried its best to lose me in the twisties -- and couldn't. (Of course, the price I have paid for that some of behavior is worn out OEM rear Contis at 12K miles ).
