Mobridge

Hi guys
Just a quick hello & introduction, if I can help anyone with questions relating to mObridge iPod or iPod Bluetooth please feel free to post or email. We now distribute mObridge for the BMW range, for you who are not familiar with the product please visit - www.mobrdige-ipod.co.uk . The full iPod (all iPods up to the current version) will charge & control via I-Drive, and the Bluetooth will emulate the BMW Bluetooth but with the added benefit of Parrot chipset to enable you to use many phones that BMW just simply do not cover!
If you need any coding or software updates please visit www.cartronics.co.uk as they offer this service, plus full ECU remapping VIA OBD (no ecu removal).
Regards
Mark

I have a 2006 530d M Sport with prof. sat nav, bluetooth, CD changer in glove box and have been looking for something to integrate my iphone 2G with 3.0 OS with the idrive for some time. Ideally I want a USB connection in the arm rest and then be able to browse my music from the idrive and the phone to be connected to the blue tooth.
Will the mobridge simply be a hardware install or will I need a software update from BMW? I live in Cardiff and my local dealer will have nothing to do with 3rd party products, so I need to do this myself but if I need any software updates am screwed.
Am I able to terminate the ipod connection in the armrest and then buy the iphone snap in adaptor and connect the 2?
I already have built in bluetooth, will this be affected and will it carry on working as normal? ie mute the music when someone calls?
thanks
Adam
