Hello all.
Currently in the process of selecting a new car for purchase. I had the opportunity to test drive a 335i and was pleased with the handling and performance. However, I have come across numerous negative comments regarding BMW reliability and service in my Internet research. What I am looking for is honest feedback from those of you who own a BMW (particularly in Western Canada) with regard to frequency of breakdowns, cost of repairs, and the Service given from your dealers. Please specify warranty and non-warranty service and the average time the vehicle remained in the shop.

p.s. Any comments regarding service and support from those of you who have imported US BMW into Canada would be appreciated

Not surprising you only found negatives comments as positive/good ones are rarely typed/shared and opposite for negative experiences. I am in my first BMW currently. No problems with service or support, only needed it once for a rattle noise. Resolved and handled to my satisfaction.
