hey all... my name is JP and i've been around the bmw scene for quite a while now. pretty well known around bf.c and some other areas.

i recently picked up an e60, and have been lurking around the forum a bit while i put it together. my dad is also a car nut and really wanted to see some photos of what i've done to it, so i thought now would also be a good time to write up an intro thread.

sapphire metallic black on black leather. sport, premium, nav, etc etc etc... picked it up for a screaming deal with only 20,000 miles on it with full warranty (including maintenance) until 2015.

don't worry, i'm not done with it yet. this is just stage 1.

next few items on the list are:
1) Eibach pro-kit springs
2) something with the exhaust
3) possibly m5 truck lip spoiler (undecided on this one)

and although there's nothing abnormal lurking under the hood... there is definitely something that will surprise anyone with a stock 550i if they think they're going to pull on me easily. gotta love what you can do with a computer and two snails.

It's sourced by eurorev and painted by bastolli in inglewood. Great paint shop.

Mirrors:
I went oem because I wanted perfect fit net and full functionality. I've found most aftermarket replica mirrors are garbage, and didn't like any of the offerings from the tuners.

Tires:
Hankook evo 12 or something. Car & drivers highest rated competitor to the pilot sports that comes in a 19.

Turbo license plate frame: eBay

Halos:

Oh, and the reason the rear diffuser looks like it is a different Color is because it is... I had that painted matte black and covered with uv spray.
