Model Year: 2009

Just wanted to say hi!
Hello fellow bimmerfans!
I had been lurking around in the forums for almost 6 months when I was searching for my perfect first ride here in the US of A! Just got my pre-loved baby home last night from Indiana to Connecticut (over 700 miles in just a lil under 11 hours!). During the drive I finally understood why there is such a strong following for the E60. The car just strode out of the previous owner's driveway and into mine not even letting me comprehend that we just drove for 11 hours straight!
For starters, the car in question is a 2009 BMW 535i xdrive and the poster in question is a mechanical engineer who just finished his graduate studies here but one who is not new to cars ! Originally from India, where I own a Suzuki Baleno(still modded though ). Wanted to experience a big German saloon and the choice finally came down to the E60 after intense comparisons on forums threads!
I'm looking forward to a wonderful relationship with other forum members here where I hope to gain as much knowledge as I can to help me take care of my beauty in the times to come as well as posting as much useful information as I can.
Thanks again guys, without 5 series forums, this car would not be with me right now!
Cheers,
Shark
