My Ride: 535i
Model Year: 2008
Just got it.
Hi everyone,
I have previously worked at Z1 Motorports "300zx.com" for 4 years and own a 300zx TT. I have gone as far as changing the CHRA's on the turbos on my Z so I am fairly knowledgable about forced induction. With a wife and three kids I needed a bigger car. I was not willing to compramise on performance and began my epic quest to find the perfect machine to fit my needs and wants.
After 4 years of searching and waiting I have found a 2008 535i White with black interior. It has the sports package. I know absolutely nothing about this car and need some help. I was told that it has a performance chip and makes more boost than stock. I need to know how to verify this. Also is there a way to monitor boost, water temp, oil press, ect without having to add gauges?
I was considering purchasing the service manual to get started, do you guys recommend this?

Congrats on the purchase! Definitely check out the Cobb for an easy hand held tuner. If you want exterior or interior parts check out www.RWCarbon.com
