My Ride: 2007 525i
Introduction
Good afternoon all,
Glad to be part of this awesome site! I have been doing all of my own work for the past two years, I have a 2007 BMW 525i and I love the performance. When ever I take it to the dealer I ask the wife if she don't mind have more children because I have to leave the current ones for collateral.
My most recent issue is I have gas leaking from underneath the drives side tank area, I have checked the fuel filter within the rear passenger side and all is well. No leaks, no smell in the car etc. But when I get out of the car I smell it very strong from the area on the drivers side. I changed the oil on Sunday and noticed that there was some wetness on the tank itself but no drip and nothing on the ground.
Any thoughts other than the fact that there is definitely a leak come from somewhere on the tank?
