Hi everyone, new member and hopefully soon to be new owner checking in from South Florida. Working on a 2008 535i 6spd and hope to get it wrapped up and picked up today. Already shopping for some mods. I previously owned a couple G35 Coupe 6MTs, did some work to them, and can't wait to get back into some light modding. Keep it classy and build a mean ride.

See you guys around...

Hope to see you on the forums with your car soon! What color did you choose? What mods are you thinking about?

Thanks guys, and everything worked out great. Picked her up Saturday morning. Dark gray (space gray metallic I think) exterior, gray interior, 6spd, sport. Already ran about 300 miles and couldnt be happier.

I am looking at a chip (JB 2 or 3 most likely but still researching), M5 style spoiler, hopefully get it tinted in the next couple days , and then see whats next.

I recommend the ESS DirectFlash which FLASHES your ECU as opposed to a piggyback. MUCH easier to install as you are only connecting to the OBD instead of going into the DME by removing the covers etc PLUS, it's NOT a piggyback. Flashes are always better than piggybacks since piggybacks intercepts/scrambles the signals whereas a flash is an actual reading.

Thanks for the info John. I've had a few friends do the JB3 and swear by it, but I still want to look around. My main concern is making sure I don't mess up warranties and end up with a problem should I need to go in for anything major down the line.
