My Ride: 2006 E60 530i Alpine White, Premium & Cold Weather Package
I guess it is time to introduce myself. I am Michael from eastern KY USA near the town of Ashland. This is the area of KY where KY, OH, & WV all meet. I have been an avid BMW enthousioust for quite some time and have had numerous BMW's over the years. My main hobby is club racing my Spec E30 with NASA. Most of my racing is done at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. I came up throught the ranks of the BMWCCA drivers schools.
I just purchased a CPO Alpine White 530i to replace my wife's aging E39. I do most all the work on my cars myself but do farm out the occastional "hard stuff" if I don't have time to do it. I got the E60 CPO due to the fact that it is basically a PC on wheels and until more info is out on the net I was afraid of the big stuff going out and having to rely only on the dealer for help.
I am a Civil Engineer by trade (PE in KY&WV) and work in the constrution field. Our firm does mostly federal projects and have of lately been doning Military Family housing design build projects.
In the past I have owned two E24 635CSi's and turned one into a race car. Have had two different E30 race cars. A few E28's. My current stable is the E60, an E39 that is about to be sold, an E36M3 that is my daily driver and the race car. There is also a Ford E350 van I use to tow the racecar with.
That is about it for now. I do have some questions that I will be asking in other areas of the forum but felt I should introduce myself first.

BTW, I lived in southen OH some years ago. Those people (not me) called your people briar hoppers ... brahoppers for short. You one of those?
