First of all, the poewr of the 525i is a bit lacking, i am looking forward to my upgrade hopefully next year,

i got radical spoke 190 rims sitting in the basement right now but no rubber, im going to wait till next year cuz in toronto its freezing cold right now
i am going to change the chrome kidney grill and window trim to flat matte black from the oem bmw parts i ordered
i want to buy the jl audio steathbox with a 12w6 in it, i had a 10 w7 in my other car but i got rid of it a while ago but now i want a system again

i am going to buy new lights from john when he gets back from vacation tomorrow, angle eyes and fog and LEDs

i want to do something to my engine but what? cai ? chip ? catback? is it even worth it?

also i am worried about my rims and if i will need to change anything for my suspension

and i want to change all the liquid in the car and spark plugs and wires and i got new bmw brake pads and roters in the trunk

my best friend owns a fleet graphics company and he wants to install carbon fibre vynle on my roof as a tester car and he is going to tint my lights and headlights something but i dont know yet, he is going to figure it out and get back to me

i really like my bmw but now i wish i got a 545i or 550i but this is my first one and im looking forward to modding it and enjoying the car till the next 1

All good ideas. I have basically all of John's lighting mods and I love the way they improved the appearance of my car for not that much $$$. I've got: (1) 6000K HID fogs; (2) 6000K HID headlights (the 4300K HID headlights from the factory have a yellowish hue that does not match the whitish/bluish hue of the 6000K HID fogs); (3) 8500K GP Thunder AE bulbs; (4) stealth turn signal bulbs; (5) LED reverse lights; (6) RD LED license plate lamps; and (7) full LED interior lights.

One inexpensive mod that is proven to increase power is the RPI ram air scoop with the drop in filter.

Lots of members (myself included) also get the Sprintbooster (or the adjustable but more expensive Velocity unit) to increase throttle response.

You could definitely use fly wheels. The most popular OEM ones are all 19 inches and are: (1) Style 172 (standard on the current 550i Sport); (2) Style 166 (standard on the current M5); and (3) Style 167 (standard on the M6).

There are a million fly aftermarket wheels and a million threads that discuss them. For cast wheels, my favs are the Miro 935, Breyton Race GTS and VMR V710. I am not as knowledgeable about forged wheels (out of my price range) but I love the Radengergie R10s and RS10s and some of the DPE wheels, among others.
