Hi fellow 5series owners, I just recently bought a used 2007 530i and love it so far. I bought it for leisure since I'm retired/disabled. Since I retired I only drive between 1000 - 3000 a year. The only other BMW I owned was an '83 528e around 1990. I did have a bad experience with the 528, but loved driving it when it wasn't in the shop. Someone had mistreated it and the problem wasn't obvious until a couple of thousand miles on it. I marked it up to my stupidity of buying something with my heart instead of my head. After that experience I have been driving Toyota's...sedans, suvs and trucks. Great cars for reliability and resale value. When I was younger the 4Runners were fun to drive...for me! I sold a 2008 4Runner with only 47000 miles on it. Most of the miles were accumulated when I was commuting to work. Back to the BMW, I may be asking some dumb questions about my new, ultimate driving experience, so please bear with me. Looking forward to learning and sharing information with you folks.
