Picked this 2008 535xi touring up about a year ago. Promptly did an m sport package (oe rear and sides, ecs replica front). Plenty of maintenance items such as leaks and electronics have been addressed. Put our new summers on today.

Car is a blast to drive. 20+ year audi/vw owner and still have 2 audis that I love. My wife drives the BMW. Simple Cobb tune and wheels and that's it. Have spent a lot of time reading this forum and am thankful for the knowledge shared. Not embarrassed to say that Lots of my time on here was getting tips and inspiration from Evan's amazing build and know how. Hopefully I have picked up a few things to avoid silly misteps on modding this generation. Anyway, cheers and get out and drive. Headed for one myself, Sunday bbq!

thanks very much. Trying to keep it simple and understated but purposeful. I have gone full retard on tons of other cars and my ability to handle stumbles is seriously diminished. Keeping it well maintained and clean this go round.

I do have one very newbie? That being how the hell does the rear support bar in the boot come out to get to the space saver spare? I cannot for the life of me figure it out. Feel very silly not being able to access it in case of emergency. Embarrassing
