Hello and good day to you all.

New to BWM, got myself a 55 plate 525D SE (E60) - still missing the RX8

Sorry to 'hit' with a question on my first post but here goes:

I seem to have some funny 'going-ons' with courtesy lights: when I open the boot the light comes on then goes off almost immediately, if a passenger door is opened the boot light comes on again and then goes off again. The map lights don't come on when pressed but do come on when I switch off the engine and open the door and almost immediately go off again (the centre stays on for about 30 seconds). Likewise the glove box light comes on then goes off again. I assume there are vanity lights behind the sun visors but I've not seen them come on at all. I can't find a timer for these lights so can I presume its a programming problem? Can I get it checked for free or is that a no-no now its out of warranty?

Thanks for any help/suggestions.
Paul

Thanks for joining.
I have no insight as to your problem. I am sure others here can help.

Perhaps you want to create a new question with the issue as the topic? Many members may not look at the new member posting and then never get to your question.
