Hi to all members, newbie to the forum. Just finding my way round the site at the moment. Will hopefully post some pics of my ride when I get it back from the dealership eventually. Long running problem with water getting into the battery well. Repairs have been dragging on for a year now, water problem possibly cured but now having trouble with electrics ( radio reception etc ). Here's hoping my luck changes. gio

Yes it's a 530d sport 2004 model. Had it 18 months , love the car but had 12 months of grief trying to get the dealer to fix the water leak into the battery well. They may have sorted the leak but now I'm having trouble with the radio and the keys. Due to them not fixing it properly in the first place I ended up driving around with about 4 inches of water built up around the battery. Hoping I'm nearing the end of my troubles or I'll be pushing them to replace the car on the grounds the car is not fit for the road. gio

Hi , they have replaced the antenna booster which seems to have improved the reception of my keys. The FM radio reception is generally better although it still faded out a couple of times on the drive home from the dealers. I will continue to moniter it. They did give me a full tank of fuel though so a bit of a result. gio
