Hello Everybody,
My name is Bud (obviously) and I just ordered a 535xi sportwagon yesterday. It will be here in late February. Hope you guys and gals don't mind if I hang around and read to get information and knowledge. Will probably lurk and read more than post. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and start reading!
Take care,
Bud

Yes

But I have to say Sportswagon sounds better than estate and touring, and is probably more appropriate for an E61

Is it offically called the Touring in the US, or Sportswagon?

Thanks for the welcome. In the USA they call it the sportswagon. I had an X5 before and my wife presently drives a 330Ci convertible. I have a Mini presently and looking forward to the delivery of the 535xi in February. Was thinking about CSL wheels in a titanium finish and tint to finish it off for now.

Here is my order spec:
535xi sportwagon
Alpine White
Nappa Black Leather
Anthracite Bamboo Trim
Sport Package
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
STEPTRONIC Automatic Transmission
Park Distance Control
Rear Door Mounted Side Impact Airbag
Active Cruise Control
Comfort Access
BMW On-Board Navigation System
Head-Up Display
Rear Seat Heating
Rear Manual Side Window Shades
SIRIUS Satellite Radio
iPod/USB Adapter
HD Radio
Logic7 Sound System

Here's a pic of my Mini if you all don't mind. If so I will remove it.

No siding, or bodies yet. I am a cyclist and father of three, just a little more practical. And with regard to the bodies, if I get another driver that goes by me within millimeters at 100Kph I just might be glad I bought the wagon.
