First of all I'm from Sydney, Australia currently driving an e46 318i '04 Executive. Placed order on LCI 523i w/ Professional pack. (Head-up display, PDC front and rear, 8.8" Monitor, TV function, Voice recognition, Professional Navgation) Automatic Transmission and Sunroof. Cream Beige interor and Space GRey Exterior.... Arriving in 7 days from now Can't WAIT!!
Always wanted an e60 but tight on budget...the drive away price for this was 103k AUD...I think its a good price. Anyone?

Anyhow great to be here and hope to see you guys around in the future! (for help probably )

Welcome. How long did you have to wait to gt your car ??? I placed my order in early June for an August build with an October delivery (I know that it wouldn't make the July build as I have an Individual Package).

I have owned various 3 series cars for about 18 years and I am sure we will both be very happy with the step up to a 5 series.

Are there any other options you ordered ? The list pice for your order comes to about A$90.7K without any discount, so around A$12.3K for on road costs and dealer delivery seems high - but I'd pay more not to have to wait 5 months for mine.

Agreed. I ordered mine early last week on Tuesday and the dealer said it's coming from Melbourne in two weeks. Checked with dealer yesterday and its on the way, will be picking it up LATEST next TUESDAY! I was very happy with the test drive last week I initially ordereed space grey exterior but delievery would be quite lengthy...so I switched to Platnium Grey. The RRP I got from car config at bmw.com.au was 92.4k. Metallic paint is an optiion on the 523i which is about...an extra 1.7k...no other options other than that, sunroof, and pro pack (real bargain) I'm also trading in my 318i excutive for 40k (I think its a good price) so that probably took the car's price up a bit. 5 months for your car is a long time...... how much was it? What options? Congrats on your purchase and choice with BMW (i've always been a bmw fan)

EDIT: Just read your intro thread and saw your specs. nice 530i! a load of options too. (from other thread) 2 (two) 550i's in the US....its so expensive here...!
