Welcome. Why'd you change the DME? Did you clone the old one to the new one? Was CAS and DME synced? A lot of questions as you should have the codes guide you to a answer of why you're still having issues
No I didn’t clone it I look up on the net that my first problem lol and it said I didn’t have too.really there wasn’t nothing wrong with my I just got the bee and the Vvt computer for $50 and figured since the net said it would work on both of them I just install it.i am guessing I need too put my old one back in? Now my Vvt I believe it was bad can I leave that in or does that need too be programmed too?
to the forums. @Jslyder You need to be careful what you read on the 'net because nothing has been qualified. Also, it appears that your code reader is not BMW-specific.
Yes u r right on both trust me if I had the money I would buy the best of the best but I don’t and times r hard right now and both of my cars r down so I would take any advice that will help me get this running so I can get back too work so I am going too put in my old dme unless that a bad idea too ? I could use good advice and get this up and going pls
It seems like you have already realized that BMWs are complex machines. That is why a BMW code reader is quite the essential tool.
I am not sure what BMW readers you saw, but I've seen some as low as $49. The one I use cost $79. Or, if you have a spare laptop lying around that has enough resources, you can install diagnostic software for FREE.
